1:35 Scale Half Round Ridge Tiles Mould (1350036)

The 1:35 Scale Half Round Ridge Tiles Mould produces 1:35 scale individual ridge tiles that if full size would be approximately 12” long and have an inside diameter of approximately 8”.

*Please note: Although called half round, like the real thing these ridge tiles are slightly less than half round.

This is a two part mould. Two part moulds can be tricky to use so make sure to check out the guide to using this mould.

The mould will give you a virtually unlimited supply of 1:35 scale ridge tiles if used with plaster (using some resins will reduce the life of the mould if you choose to cast using resin).

These moulds are made of the high quality platinum-cure silicone giving the mould an exceptionally long library life and high resistance to aggressive resins if you choose to use resin instead of plaster.

We recommend:

Using Terracotta Casting Powder with Iron for clay ridge tiles.

If not available use:

Good quality hard castings plaster. Some cheaper forms of Plaster of Paris are not strong enough to use with this mould.
Powder pigments to colour the plaster rather than painting the ridge tiles.
