1:35 Scale Cut-Out Wall Sections for Mould 1350072 (Stretcher Bond) (1350073)

This 1:35 Scale Cut-Out Wall Sections Mould will make brick wall sections in stretcher bond that have cut-outs for the arches made with the 1:35 Scale Victorian Terrace Arches Mould (1350072).

The wall sections made with this mould will interlock with wall sections made with our other stretcher bond wall section moulds except the discontinued mould (1350029).

These moulds are made of the high quality platinum-cure silicone giving the mould an exceptionally long library life and high resistance to aggressive resins if you choose to use resin instead of plaster.

A few tips:

Stick the outside (small) bases of the arches against the inside cut-out and flush with the bottom of the outside wall sections before you stick these bases to the arch itself.
Assemble the arches then stick them into the wall section. The diameter of the cut out is 0.2mm larger than the diameter of the arches for clearance.

We recommend:

Good quality hard castings plaster.
Powder pigments to colour the plaster.
The wall sections in the images were cast using Terracotta Casting Plaster with Iron. When filling the mould, some black powder pigment was randomly mixed in.
