1:35 Scale 8' x 4' Plaster Sheets Mould (1350017)

The 1:35 Scale 8’ x 4’ Plaster Sheets Mould produces 1:35 scale 8 feet high by 4 feet (approximately) wide sheets of smooth plaster. This is the standard size for sheets of plaster board or dry wall if you’re in the US. 8 feet is also the standard height for rooms in houses.

Most buildings have smooth plaster on the internal side of walls so if you are building even a small section of wall for a building you will need this mould.

There are many other uses for the 1:35 scale sheets of plaster cast using this mould as many exterior architectural features on real buildings are not real just stuck on.

*Please note: these scale sheets of plaster are very thin (approx 0.75mm). Standard Plaster of Paris will not be strong enough to make them; it will just brake when you de-mould the sheets so be sure to use a hard casting plaster.

We recommend:

Good quality hard castings plaster. Some cheaper forms of Plaster of Paris are too soft to make scale plaster sheets. Make sure you purchase a hard casting plaster.
Powder pigments to colour the plaster rather than just painting the scale plaster sheets.
