1:16 Scale Small Storm Drain Grate (1160043)

The 1:16 Scale Storm Drain Grate Mould produces a 1:16 Scale Storm Drain Grate and frame.

This mould was primarily designed to be used with resin.

The 1:16 scale storm drain grates and frames in the product images were made using Multi-Purpose Polyester Resin mixed with Fine Iron Powder (1 part resin to about 4 parts Fine Iron Powder (by weight)). This resin iron mixture cannot be poured and must be applied to the mould in layers with a small brush. When cured the castings can be made to rust and buffed to look like real iron. The grates and frames in the pictures have not been painted.

These moulds are made of the high quality platinum-cure silicone giving the mould an exceptionally long library life and high resistance to aggressive resins.
