1:16 Scale 5" Curbstones Mould (1160037)

The 1:16 Scale Curbstones Mould produces 1:16 scale 5 inch wide curbstones of various lengths, plus a 90 deg corner and 90 deg curved curbstone.

Curbstones are an essential part of most roads. Even if you are not going to build a complete diorama a small section of road makes a great base for displaying models.

This mould will give you a virtually unlimited supply of 1:16 scale curbstones if used with plaster (using some resins will reduce the life of the mould).

These moulds are made of the high quality platinum-cure silicone giving the mould an exceptionally long library life and high resistance to aggressive resins if you choose to use resin instead of plaster.

We recommend:

Good quality hard castings plaster. Some cheaper forms of Plaster of Paris are too soft for some of the weathering techniques.
Powder pigments to colour the plaster rather than just painting the curbstones.
